    Dissertation troubles

Hi All. Im having real trouble in forming a focused question for my dissertation. Does/did anyone else have this problem? I know that I would like to do it around the abuse/social exclusion of older people if possible. Does anyone have any ideas on good research in this area so I might be able to come up with a question after reading around the subject alittle better? Any tips or advice would be greatly received Smile

I am at the same stage, but what occurs to me is that if you are not aware of a large body of literature about the subject then it might not be a suitable one to undertake. I had a number of interests but eventually decided to go with the one which is most easily researched. It is a subject I feel strongly about anyway.

I have got the book 'excellent dissertations' - I might even read it one day Confused

I came on here for the exact same thing! only I've managed to chose a topic i'm very interested in DV and NO Recourse to Public funds rule and was able to get a lot of literature on it!

Just writing my dissertation proposal which is due in tomorrow and i'm struggling on things such as ethical considerations!
