    Social workers and conduct hearings

Community Care has reported a number of GSCC conduct hearings and my colleague Sally Gillen is currently covering this case, where a woman has alledged her approved social worker had sex with her while she was dealing with a severe alcohol problem.

Without getting into the nitty gritty details of this particular case - which is still being heard by the GSCC - I wondered what you thought about situations where clients claim their social worker has behaved inappropriately and the GSCC supports their claim? I'm a *cough* hard-nosed journalist but find it shocking a minority of social workers behave like this with clearly vulnerable clients.
