More news: Unison has confirmed that the walkout will definitely go ahead on the 16th and 17th of July (this needed to be rubber stamped by the industrial action committee). So we are go!

Also, my colleagues Daniel Lombard and Adam McCulloch have some interesting things to say on the case for strike action, with Adam looking into the party political dimension (industrial unrest ushering in a Tory government etc).
