Founder of role playing games, Gary Gygax has passed away and gone to the great gaming umpire in the sky.
A big inspiration to modern computer games and a saviour of geeks everywhere (not me of course), many a teenager escaped mental turmoil and raging hormones by pretending to be in some Lord of the Rings-type adventure.
Come on, admit it, some of you dabbled.
