Is there any reason why the carespace date format is like the American type, i.e. mm/dd/yy? I know this is the beta version of carespace but was there anything wrong with using the English format of dd/mm/yy?

Yes, it is annoying! But unfortunately we can't change it at the moment. Hopefully when a new version is out we will be able to change it.

I've just been informed that it is possible for you to change the date format - go into "edit profile" and the "site options" and you get the choice to change the way you view the date. Hope that helps 

On the subject of editing profile - is there any way to change log in email address and / or password?

I don't think you can change them - but I could change them for you if you wanted

Also, I've just changed the edit function so people now have 15 minutes to edit their posts
