Hi, I'm hoping to undertake an MA in social care in September and think that shadowing a social worker would be really good experience and help me get on the course.
Does anyone know if social workers allow people to shadow them? I'm looking to do this in the Yorkshire area.
You should contact the children & families dept locally. They often don't mind and have people who are practice teachers who they might be able to let you spend a day with.
