good on her tho you'd think 20k was a bit low really
seems fairly shocking (tho maybe not)
on other non sw websites there seems to be an amazement that social workers could be like that
8 years to settle the matter, still no apparent apology from the Belfast Health Trust who defended the legal action to the end despite knowing and admitting that the religious and sectarian harassment was wrong - shame on you Belfast Health Trust.
good on her for going back
ive heard similar comments from people about "undeserving poor" in sw offices - ive challenged it in the past but always been treated as if im slightly naive and politically correct
be interesting if there was a similar action from social workers who come from proper working class backgrounds and what would be the outcome
have read elsewhere that she took it to her manager and asked her to intervene who refused and when she said "you do know i can take you to court for this" the reply was "over my dead body"
nice
