Hello all,

I have received an offer to commence my masters in September. Although I received offers at other universities I picked this particular uni due to the convenience of its location as it is only 10 minutes away from where I live.

However, much to my dismay it transpires that the tuition fees for this uni is £9000 which I would find it near impossible to afford.  It’s very frustrating as universities slightly further afield are charging between £4500 - £7500 which by comparison feels like a bargain.

I am at the stage where I regretfully have to reconsider where I will be attending.

How is everyone else going about managing these extortionate fees as many bursay's that I have come across are aimed at undergradutates.

I would much appreciate peoples responses and advice!

Don't give up hope yet Destiny! Check out the NHS Bursary website for information on funding. I have spoken to them and apparently the Department of Health is currently consulting on the new bursary to set for September 2012. Due to the fee increase to an astronomical level which (fingers crossed) should in line with the bursary for the next academic year. Good luck!
