Philip Scott CEO of the Priory Group is to speak on the issue of ‘What are we looking for when we make an acquisition and how are we taking forward our £60million acquisition strategy.’ The Priory Group is Europe’s leading independent provider of healthcare services. Mr Scott will also present a detailed analysis of the financial aspects of the sector.
Jason Lowe Coast and Country Homecall will speak on the issue of ‘How can care providers and the telecare industry create a pre-entry package into the care home setting.’ Homecall helps thousands of vulnerable people live independently in their own homes through a telecare service, which provides specialist alarm and sensor systems.
Paul Bradley from ROK PLC is to speak on the issue of ‘Maintaining, improving, and building property assets.’ Rok plc is the Nation’s Local Builder. Founded in 1939 it is fully listed on the London Stock Exchange and provides building and maintenance services that are tailored to local needs.
Anne-Marie Cousins from Lee & Priestley will present on the issue of ‘The Quality Care Commission and legal aspects of dealing with regulators.’ The specialist Care Homes Legal Team at Lee & Priestley has extensive knowledge and experience of working with businesses in the care homes sector.
Graham Robb a partner at public relations and marketing firm Recognition Marketing & PR will explore ‘Dealing with the media in a crisis.’ Recognition PR is the leading PR firm working in the ‘care’ market. Graham has spent nearly 30 years working in the media and learned his art in commercial and BBC Radio.
The conference is targeted at Care Home owners, chief executives, service managers, and home managers from across the North-East.
