The issue is not about financial gain or not loving the children its about being able to have the choice and if these children need stability and someone their for them maybe the last thing someone wants to do is go out and leave these children until they feel settled and safe, and how can anyone in...

Sorry I have read and unable to quote the bit I wish to use, but how old is the grandmother? and how many children did she have placed with her? I feel its amazing to be told to go out and get a job, and if there is a disability involved also then I would say trying to get a job is almost impossible...

I feel that if it saves the children or whom ever else the informal carer is caring for the heartache of being away from there family, why should they not be paid it costs money, people have to leave there jobs and can not be expected to live on thin air, It would also save the government money and help...

No they are not, what is dangerous is an individual persons unwillingness to learn and move on, we are all unqualified to start with and we are taught by the people who know best the service user and their informal support. By listening and hearing what a person wants we can learn alot. The only reason...
