Purchasing Care Directory

What is the Online Purchasing Care Directory?
A unique online directory containing information on thousands of providers. The directory is searchable and user friendly and aims to revolutionise the sourcing of specialist social care services and products.

How has it been developed?
Community Care has taken time to research and develop this site in conjunction with commissioning managers and social care practitioners, to ensure that their needs for sourcing specialist care providers are met.

When will it be available?
www.communitycare.co.uk/purchasingcare launched in July 2006. The online directory is an integral part of www.communitycare.co.uk and offers users scope for sourcing specialist social care services online, complementing the existing print directory.

How will it work?
www.communitycare.co.uk/purchasingcare is free to access and enables users to fully search the database of providers by any combination of client group, specialist service, location and key word. Comprehensive information on every provider can be found, including links to CSCI reports and providers can amend their details, ensuring the information on the site can always be kept up to date.

What is the target audience? How will users find out about it?
The online site is actively being marketed to the same key audience as the print version - 20,000 care professionals taken from the established CommunityCare database, comprising Commissioning Managers/Officers, Senior Social Workers, Senior Practitioners, Team Leaders. The site is also being marketed via major search engines such as Google, Yahoo and MSN, successfully delivering relevant users to provider details.

Benefits for advertisers
As in the print directory, advertising on the site will ensure you appear higher in the search results, above all the free entries, and it will help users to choose your organisation above your competitors.

  • Sponsorship packages, incorporating banner and buttons offer excellent opportunities to build your brand and increase awareness for your organisation in key prominent positions across the site.
  • Sponsorship packages of key words (client groups and specialist services) ensure top of list priority whenever a users searches on them.
  • Enhanced entries offer special packages to attract more attention to your entry and offer a greater depth of information about your services.
