Labour should leave the south alone, say readers

Most visitors to Community Care’s website believe the government
is wrong to consider diverting resources away from the south east
of England to local authorities in the North.

Three-quarters said they disagreed with the policy, with 25 per
cent saying it was right.

A Help The Aged/Mori poll found that 15 per cent of voters would
consider changing the party they chose for one that supports free
personal care for all older people.
