Young offenders responsible for a quarter of crime in Scotland

Only 2,300 young people are responsible for a quarter of crime
in Scotland, according to latest figures released by Audit
Scotland. The analysis also reflects that the number of young
repeat offenders has doubled in the past decade, and as many as one
in 12 of Scotland’s young people had offended or been subject
of a criminal investigation.
