Conference to discuss white paper

People with learning difficulties from across the UK are to
gather in Northampton on the 27 July to discuss the learning
difficulty white paper Valuing People: A New Strategy for
Learning Disability for the 21st Century

Only people with learning difficulties and their supporters and
advisers will be able to attend the the four-day conference, staged
by learning difficulties group Central England People First (CEPF).
Ian Davies, CEPF treasurer, said it was vital that the government
should listen to what people with learning difficulties have to
say. Conference results will be presented to the government, local
