Have your say

This is Community Care’s new online discussion forum
Have you say which gives people the opportunity
to air their views on a controversial subject.

All you need to do is click on the link at the foot of
the page to send your opinions in by e-mail and they will be posted
here on the website.

This week’s first subject is the workload of social workers in
children’s services and whether it affects their ability to ensure
children are not put in danger. Are you a social worker in
children’s services – what do you think?

The director of social services in Haringey, Anne Bristow, said
social workers were not overworked at the time of the death of
Victoria Climbie.

And the second subject is the private sector and its involvement
in the provision of services. Do you think the public sector can
provide some of the answers?
