Three out of four visitors to Community
Care‘s website believe it is realistic for social services to
regulate private fostering after a report from British Agencies for
Adoption and Fostering called for more protection for vulnerable
children.
Seventy-four per cent of people said they
believed social services departments could take on this role if the
government decided it should be one of their functions.
