Eton College starts drugs programme

Eton College is set to introduce a drug rehabilitation programme
for pupils.

According to Sunday newspaper reports, Eton headmaster, Tony
Little, has decided to introduce a new “Priory-style”
rehabilitation programme for its teenage pupils.

Previously, students caught using drugs at the school near Windsor
had been expelled. Little admitted in the report that in the past
year the college had “lost a couple of boys to drugs”. He said the
new strategy will, from next month, direct pupils towards
rehabilitation and counselling.
