Antisocial unit ‘tsar’ turns the air blue Louise Casey, the
controversial head of the government’s antisocial behaviour unit,
surely deserves her very own Asbo following a conference
after-dinner speech described by the Daily Mail as a
“foul-mouthed” rant.
It is claimed she swore repeatedly while calling the government’s
crackdown on binge-drinking nonsense.
Rumours that home secretary Charles Clarke is considering
subjecting Casey to a “bad-mouth” bar have so far proved
unfounded.
This week, Sir Alan Steer, head of the government’s task-force on
tackling unruly behaviour in schools, said children who swore at
teachers should be sent home and their parents brought into school
to discuss their attitude.
