Community Care is pleased to announce the short list for the 2005 Community Care Awards.
More than 400 projects applied for the awards which celebrate and reward the work of social care professionals across the UK.
The ceremony takes place at The Marriott, Grosvenor Square in London on 15 December and each of the winners in the 10 categories will be presented with a £5,000 cheque.
There is a new award this year – the Maureen Oswin memorial award – which will be given £8,000 by judges as the project with the best service user involvement. The project judged to be the overall winner will receive an additional £10,000.
