Who has influenced you the most?
People and friends who have supported me to do things I’m not sure about and helped me to make decisions.

Which professional has helped you most?
Social workers, keyworkers, counsellors and my family have all helped.

What one thing would you change about care services in your area?
Give them more money.

What three words best describe you?
Caring, magic, assertive.

What event most changed your life?
Being asked to be on the big partnership board. I can help people change things.

Who is your dream date?
A nice man. He doesn’t have to have a disability. Someone to share things with. He’d take me to Paris.

What is your favourite book?
Murder books like the Miss Marple ones by Agatha Christie.

Where did you have the most fun?
In the Beautiful Octopus Club disco. People are friendly and everyone mixes.

Who would you like to swap places with?
The prime minister. I’d make some new rules and get paid lots of money.

What cause would you fight for?
I’m fighting for disabled people to have better health care.

How would you like to be remembered?
By helping people.

What is the most important lesson you have learned?
Not to get excited because I get disappointed when I’m promised things and they don’t happen.
