* For most of us being made to feel uncomfortable happens only occasionally but what about those people for whom it is a daily occurrence? What is it like to be the only woman in a large group of senior managers who insist on talking about football? What is it like to be the only wheelchair user in the building or the only black person in the team? (GUIDE TIME FOR DISCUSSION: 20 minutes)

* Identify examples of the difference between faith/religion and culture. What are the implications for service delivery? (30 minutes)

* How would you set about getting to know the local black and ethnic minority community? In consulting with this community what issues would you need to be aware of? (20 minutes)

* What lessons can be learnt from the debates about religion, culture and how some people dress? (30 minutes)
