More than 100,000 people a week in the UK are thought to be going down with the norovirus, which causes vomiting and diarrhoea.
The virus has reached its highest level in five years and 100 hospital wards have closed to new admissions in a bid to control its spread.
Doctors are also advising people who contract the virus to remain at home for two days after the symptoms have gone to make sure they do not spread it to work colleagues.
Norovirus has clearly had a massive impact on the health sector but how has it affected social care? Are many people in your office off sick? Have you taken any extra precautions? Is the virus causing any particular difficulties? Email simeon.brody@rbi.co.uk with your experiences and fill in our poll below.
