Children’s minister Beverley Hughes today launched a “call for evidence” to gather information, advice and views on improving youth services.
The three-month consultation is seeking views from professionals, volunteers and organisations on issues including:
* How to improve awareness of and access to funding and grants.
* Ensuring consistent quality without creating barriers to smaller organisations.
* Opportunities to access help, expertise, and resources offered by private individuals and organisations.
Hughes launched the consultation as part of the government’s 10-year youth plan Aiming High for Young People.
