A fourth man has been arrested in connection with the ongoing child abuse investigation in Jersey.
The island’s police confirmed today that a 50-year-old man was being held in relation to serious crimes at the former Haut de la Garenne children’s home and elsewhere on Jersey.
A number of searches connected to the arrest are also being carried out as part of the investigation, which is looking at claims of abuse at Haut de la Garenne and other institutions dating back to the 1950s.
Three men have been charged so far.
