Substantial cuts have already been made to social care resources and are set to continue over the next few years. This training course looks at the common types of policy change that are used to try and cut expenditure, for example, changes to eligibility thresholds and charging policies, and cutting specific types of services such as transport to day centres. Are they lawful?
This course will be extremely useful for those working in advice agencies, lawyers (including those working within local authorities), social care workers, campaigners and anyone with an interest in ensuring a fair approach to tackling the debt crisis.
