Weston College would like to invite you to attend a Health and Social Care promotional event in relation to the training that is available within the Health Care faculty at Weston College.
The College provides training from level 1 up to degree level in all areas of care within a range of innovative and dynamic programmes. The event will provide the opportunity for you to meet with members of the management and teaching team, past and present students and gather information on the range of programmes available.
Weston College will also use this opportunity to launch new degree level provision in the Health and Social Care sector with the introduction of the following new degree programmes;
• Foundation Science Degree in Care Management in a Community Setting.
• Foundation Science Degree in Health and Social Care Practice.
These degree level programmes offer the private and voluntary care sector higher education vocational training, fully supported by access to student finance. The degree programmes allow you to continue in employment and achieve a degree at the same time, along with offering a nationally recognised qualification.
The faculty also provides courses at other levels in Health and Social Care, ensuring a range of provision that suits all levels of need and offers a progression route for all learners. The non-degree level training courses listed below will also be represented at the event;
• BTEC First Health & Social Care
• Extended National Diploma in Health & Social Care
There will also be an opportunity for employers to discuss with the College the opportunity of providing work placements for prospective students within the Health Care sectors.
The event will be on the 7th 0f June from 10am to 4pm, in the main reception of the Knightstone Campus, Weston-Super-Mare.
We are all very excited about the development of the Health and Social Care provision at Weston College and look forward to seeing you at the event when we will be able to answer any questions you may have.
