Childrens Services Level 1 or Level 2 Social Worker - Children With Disabilities
Children’s Services

Level 1 or Level 2 Social Worker in Children With Disabilities team Sleaford or Lincoln

Lincolnshire | £32,234 - £35,745

Social Care is always there for the people who need it most. It keeps children safe, transforms their lives, gives them opportunities and can be the glue that holds a family together. There has never been a more exciting time to join our team, because the work we are doing doesn’t just change lives in Lincolnshire, it will spark change across the whole country. We aspire to redefine what children’s services departments should look like.

If you are compassionate, with experience in social care and possess knowledge of relevant legislations, you’d be a great addition to our Social Care teams. As one of the eight original local authorities to be awarded with Partners in Practice status, we’ve been recognised for the way we’re ‘changing thinking and practice’, and we remain committed to improving children’s services in the UK.

As a Children’s Services Social Worker, you’ll manage and conduct a variety of complex assessments, and contribute to the planning and reviewing of cases across a broad variety of practice from start to finish. Our people are at the heart of our progress, which is why we’ll make sure you have the right support, development and training opportunities at your fingertips.

Day to day, you’ll be using our Signs of Safety methodology to collaborate with families and empower them to find their own solutions. You’ll also navigate the family and youth justice systems to support young people and families and create child-centred care plans with a range of multi-agency partners, while continuously developing your own knowledge of child development.

If you’re a conscientious and resilient Social Work England-registered social worker with a talent for relationship building, we want to hear from you.

We’re committed to supporting your continuous professional development and career progression and our offer includes regular supervision, group learning, a range of Learning and Development opportunities including at PQ level, and access to both Research in Practice and Community Care online platforms.  Join us, and we’ll give you everything you need to excel, taking you from L1 to L2 to Advanced Practitioner and beyond.

Take your next step with us today and use your skills where they matter most.
