We are looking to recruit a permanent Assistant Manager for our Residential Children's Homes, based in Spalding.  You will be working with Children and Young People who can display challenging behaviour all of whom need support to achieve positive life outcomes.

67 Albion Street is a long term children's home working with children and young people between the ages of 10 and 17 who can display challenging behaviour, but need assistance to help make a difference in their lives.

We require an enthusiastic, creative and experienced Assistant Manager who will be part of the Home's management team. You will have supervisory and leadership roles within the team and contribute to the development of the service under the leadership of the Homes Manager.

This is a management position and will require you to hold the Level 3 Children and Young People's Workforce Diploma or equivalent and have, or be prepared to work towards, the level 5 management qualifications. These are minimum requirements.

It is essential that you have experience in the caring profession, with a minimum of 5 years residential experience.  You will also have experience in a management role, where you have supervised staff, participated in multi-agency working, been responsible for implementing change (with at least 2 years as a Team Leader); meeting and evidencing performance standards. You will be required to assume responsibility for the Home in the absence of the Homes Manager and undertake specific areas of responsibility to support the team.
