Early Help Worker
The East Lindsey Early Help Team are looking to recruit to One Full Time Position and One 23 Hour Position. Early Help provides support to children, young people and their family. Our vacancies will work within the Skegness Area of East Lindsey.
Early Help is a challenging but rewarding opportunity for people who have a passion to make a difference in working with families who require some additional support in their lives at present. You will be working alongside other internal and external agencies to provide support at the right time and the right place. Early Help Workers work directly with parents and carers as well as children and young people on a one-to-one and group basis; delivering evidence-based interventions, including parenting programmes.
About you:
You will be responsible for ensuring the needs of children/young people and their families are appropriately assessed using a range of methods, then working with the family and other professionals to help them produce a plan of how the issues or concerns can be addressed in a comprehensive and co-ordinated way.
It is desirable that you have some knowledge of supporting children, young people and families through the Team Around The Child (TAC) or Social Care arena or in some capacity with children, young people and families.
The successful applicants will receive a full induction along with relevant, up to date training. You will receive regular supervision and support as part of our ongoing commitment to develop our staff.
About the Teams:
The Early Help Team work with children and young people both short and long term within the Team Around the Child (TAC), Child in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP) and Looked After (LAC) arena's.

The post holders will be required to travel and work in a timely and flexible manner to undertake the duties of the role and there is some element of evening and weekend work where cases require it.
