Community Care Live Birmingham 2015 Partners and Sponsors
The Community Care Live team would like to extend their appreciation and thanks to the partners and sponsors of Community Care Live Birmingham 2015.
In partnership with:Birmingham City Council would like to welcome you to Community Care Live 2015. We are delighted to be the main partner for the recruitment fair and we are looking forward to meeting you and hearing your insights and ideas. And of course tell you about what a brilliant city Birmingham is to live and work in. Birmingham has had a number of challenging years, and we have spent some time reflecting on and learning from our mistakes. We now have a new Children’s Improvement Plan in place, and we are starting to see the impact of this on improving outcomes for the young people in our city. Our Adult Social Care service continues to face similar challenges with the implementation of the Care Act, the implementation of our new and improved focus on improving our customer journey, alongside our work to enable our service users to get the right support at the right time. We have a long way to go, and we know that we need a team of well supported, professional and empowered children and adult social workers in place to embed this change. We are an exciting, diverse, dynamic and yes – challenging authority to work for. We are innovating, such as our recent ground breaking court case obtaining injunctions to protect a vulnerable young woman at risk of sexual exploitation. We are investing in our staff, through initiatives such as our professional development and practice improvement programme, and we are supporting our staff by listening to their feedback and working hard to improve their working conditions. If you’d like to be part of this change come and meet us on at the exhibition and find out more about our recent achievements. Visit our website at www.birminghamsocialcarejobs.com/
Masterclass SponsorSkills for Care ensures that the adult social care workforce has the skills and qualifications to deliver high quality social care. We work with social care employers, people who need care and support, carers and other key stakeholders to develop tools and resources that meet the needs of the sector in terms of workforce development.
