Community Care Live is coming to London on 3 and 4 November 2015.
CC Live is the largest free-to-attend event for registered social workers, local authority directors, commissioners and councillors working with adults, children and families. In 2015 we have revamped the content so you get the training and continuous development you need.
Full details will be announced in the next few weeks, but you can sign up now to ensure your free place and be the first to hear about speaker and session announcements.
What is new for 2015?
- Our exceptional conference programme has more practical sessions than ever before. Key sessions will cover the Care Act, deprivation of liberty safeguards, the Mental Capacity Act, neglect, attachment, child sexual exploitation and radicalisation. There will also be plenty of opportunities for managers and commissioners to develop their knowledge and skills.
- Our growing exhibition has three new learning zones with exciting interactive content and 1-to-1 coaching available. Email our dedicated team at email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org to find out how to get involved.
Why should you make the time to attend?
Professionals in supervisory, team or workforce management:
Why attend? Social work teams have never been under more pressure with increasing demand and changing requirements on knowledge. Hone your skills and make sure you have the best management strategies in place to cope.
Those working in for adult social care:
Why attend? The Care Act is fundamentally changing how every adult social worker practices. Make sure you can apply the act with confidence in your assessments, support plans and safeguarding practice. Also make sure you’re up to date with the latest developments in applying deprivation of liberty safeguards.
Those working with children and families:
Why attend? Want to brush up on your knowledge of attachment to ensure you use the theories correctly in court? Or need to better evidence neglect cases? Get the latest thinking on all this, plus much more.
Please note all other job titles and areas of work will be charged at the congress delegate rate of £199 + vat on the day. If you have any questions please contact the team at email@example.com.
