As part of our campaign to Stand up for Social Work Community Care commissioned research into the levels of burnout among social workers across the UK to determine the real impact of increasing budget cuts and caseloads. The research was undertaken by Dr Paula McFadden from Queen’s University, Belfast, and this resource details the headline results and her summary findings. Dr McFadden will be taking forward more in-depth analysis on the results. Community Care has sent a copy of this document to ministers, MPs, directors of social services and council chief executives, along with other sector leaders and policy makers, as part of our commitment to be honest about the realities of social work today.

Stand up for social work now. Download this document and share it with someone you believe needs to be aware of the findings.
