Welsh staff on the transfer list

The transfer season has hit Welsh social services. Counties are
compiling lists of staff who will be transferring to the 22 new
unitary authorities, with some councils setting deadlines for later
this year for the completion of the exercise.

Headquarters staff in the eight existing departments are likely
to face the most upheaval. District-based staff are expected to
stay where they are.
