An independent inquiry into Jason Mitchell, a diagnosed paranoid
schizophrenic who killed three people, began this week and will
report by January 1996.
Mitchell was placed in an open ward in a psychiatric hospital in
Ipswich in 1993 by East Suffolk local health services trust.
