n National educational charity ICAN has launched its training
brochure for April 2001-March 2002. The programme showcases 11 new
courses and five new seminars. Courses are being held in
Birmingham, Edinburgh, London, North Tyneside and Nottinghamshire.

n The National Information Forum is calling for applications for
the Getting the Message Across awards in October 2001. The awards
recognise innovative and effective projects that have been devised
to provide information to disabled people and others disadvantaged
in accessing information. Application forms are available from
