INTERNET TWINS TO RETURN TO UNITED STATES

The couple from north Wales who adopted baby girl twins over the
internet have lost their bid to keep the children.

A high court judge ruled that the twins have to be returned to
Missouri in the United States, where foster carers will look after
them while a court decides if they should be returned to their
natural mother.

Alan and Judith Kilshaw paid more than £8,000 to adopt the
twins, Belinda and Kimberley who are nearly nine months’ old, from
an adoption agency in America after contact had been made over the
web.

Flintshire social services obtained a court order to take the
twins into care, and they were cared for by foster parents while
the legal arguments were made in court.
