Don’t forget to have your say

Community Care’s new online discussion forum was launched at
Community Care Live, where delegates were given the opportunity to
join the debate on a particular issue.

“Have Your Say” will now be a regular feature in the magazine,
and on the website where readers are invited to discuss a
controversial topic.

At Live, strong views were aired on the recruitment of social
workers from South Africa; the implications for children and
families services of social workers being inadequately trained, and
whether social services departments are capable of placing abused
children with adoptive families.

One lucky contributor picked up a prize of £250 in holiday
vouchers.
