Vigil outside detention centre for asylum seekers

Around 100 people maintained an all night vigil outside
Scotland’s first detention centre for asylum seekers,
protesting against its opening this week.

Dungavel, in Lanarkshire, will start taking in the first of up
to 150 asylum seekers later this week.
