The Scottish executive has published its first ever report on
drugs misuse. The Annual Report on Drugs Misuse details the
initiatives undertaken by the executive, the drug action teams and
statutory bodies.
There are some 55,800 problematic drug misusers in Scotland, one
of the highest population ratios in Europe. Over the next two
years, the executive has provided an additional £128 million
to develop or extend examples of good practice.
