Charity launches schools strategy

Schools should form closer links with social services and child
and adolescent mental health services, says the Mental Health Foundation.

The charity recommends that government, local education
authorities and schools make mental health a priority as they have with
bullying and racism and that every secondary school carries out a mental health
audit.

The foundation has launched a training pack
providing guidance on initiating a whole-school approach to mental health. Promoting Mental Health in Secondary Schools
