Scots minister offers care staff support

Front-line community care staff such as social
workers, nurses, home care workers and physiotherapists will be
supported and consulted as joint health and social care services
develop, the Scottish deputy minister for health and community care
Frank McAveety has pledged.

He
announced the start of a consultation exercise on a report from the
integrated human resource working group, which is looking at the
issues facing staff as joint services are developed.
