Cliff Prior, the chief executive of the National Schizophrenia
Fellowship, and June Thoburn, who is professor of social work at
the University of East Anglia. have both been awarded CBEs in the
Queen’s birthday honours list.
Other awards include Brian Briscoe, the chief executive of the
Local Government Association, who was knighted.
