Poll finds views on donor rights mixed

Donor-conceived children should have a
statutory right to know the identity of their biological parents,
according to 80 per cent of respondents to a Mori poll.

But
the poll, commissioned by the Children’s Society, also discovered
that more than a third of those who supported the rights of
children to know their biological parents also supported parental
choice over whether this information is given.
