Large providers join push for higher fees

Corporate care providers, including Southern Cross, Westminster
Health Care and Four Seasons, have joined smaller private home
owners to campaign for fee increases.

They have formed English Care with more than 50 local care home
associations in England. The group accounts for more than half of
the country’s beds.

English Care will be led by Joe Campbell, chairperson and chief
executive of Scottish Care, the largest independent care
association in Scotland which has been campaigning for fee
increases there.
