Carers yearning for professional contact

More than nine out of 10 carers in the mental health sector want
contact with professionals but less than half achieve this,
according to a survey of 1,400 carers by mental health charity
Rethink.

Less than a quarter said professionals always valued their help and
skills and more than half did not know what level of care was in
place.
