Connexions Suffolk is a good partnership which has made steady
progress in the last 12 months, according to Ofsted.
The inspection found it was providing a good standard of
practice, and displayed a strong commitment to involving young
people in all aspects of work. It encouraged effective multi-agency
work which has a positive impact on the lives of young people and
has a team of skilled and experienced staff. But planning, quality
assurance and the quality of accommodation could be improved, says
the report.
Connexions South Yorkshire was found by Ofsted to be a
satisfactory partnership. It understood the needs of young people
and the communities it serves. It also responds well to young
people with complex and multiple barriers to learning, but could
improve the quality of one-to-one practice, and the involvement of
young people in planning provision to meet their own needs.
