As an aid this pack has all a trainer could need in terms of
stimulus material, handouts, session timeframes and an evaluation
sheet. It even contains suggested dialogue for the trainer to use,
writes Dawn Carville.

The activities and discussion themes look at models of disability,
common explanations of domestic violence, blame culture and the
support that is available. The pack is clear, concise and presented
in an uncluttered format that is easy to use.

The contribution of the four women featured in the video brings
forth, in a sensitive and touching way, the startling reality of an
issue that is largely ignored by society.

Dawn Carville is a trainer and owner of a training
company.
