Scotland’s new practice teaching award is on a very tight
timetable, said Sheila Lockhart, project officer at the Scottish
Practice Learning Project.
The old award has its last intake this month and the new award
is meant to start running in March 2005.
But Lockhart said that the new award is just going out to
consultation this month. “The tight deadlines were laid down
to us,” she added.
She said that the work of the project on practice learning will
mean “having students in the workplace will become part of
the culture”.
