Happiness in short supply among staff

A survey has placed social work at the bottom of the job
satisfaction league.

Social workers were placed 30th in the City and Guilds’
happiness index, with only 2 per cent saying they were very happy
with their job.

But a spokesperson for City and Guilds, which carried out the
survey, said the survey also revealed that 62 per cent of social
workers found their job rewarding.
