Learning organisations are able to take evidence about best
practice and use it to improve the decisions they make. This
resource pack brings together a range of ideas that will enable
organisations to assess how good they are at informed
decision-making, writes Jim Thomas.

A loose leaf A5 pack with colour-coded cards covering definitions
and current knowledge, plus focused sections for users, carers,
policy makers and front-line staff. The cards are well laid out,
clearly written and informative.

There is little in the pack that will be new to those with existing
knowledge on this subject. However, having this information freely
available in an accessible format will help people to think through
the challenges of becoming a learning organisation. A recommended
tool for social care organisations.
